Aircraft Details
VH-FJF is a Beechcraft 35-C33 Debonair, which Beech subsequently renamed to the venerable "Bonanza". These models have a comfortable, roomy 4 seat cabin & are truly a delight to fly.
These aircraft have an electrically operated retractable undercarriage, CSU Propeller, electric flaps, powered by a 6 Cylinder Horizontally Opposed Fuel Injected Continental Engine delivering 225HP enabling a typical cruise speed of 150 K TAS at 65% power.
FJF is IFR equipped and maintained, with Dual Garmin GI275 ADAHRS replacing the previous Vac driven AI & HI to provide a modern glass touch screen capability whilst maintaining the standard familiar "6 Pack" look and feel for the flight instruments (ASI/AI/HSI/ALT/VSI/TC). A Garmin GI275 Engine Information System (EIS) replaces the original analogue engine instruments to allow continuous real time monitoring of engine operation. Engine and flight data is automatically stored for each flight and may be uploaded for tracking engine performance for trend analysis and troubleshooting. The flight instruments are combined with a modern suite of avionics including:
- Garmin GTN650xi GPS Navcom
- Garmin GMA340 Audio Panel
- Garmin AERA 760 Panel Mounted Multifunction Display
- STEC-30 Autopilot, with ALT Hold, Coupled to Garmin 430
- Garmin GI275 GPSS Roll Steering
- KR-87 ADF
- Garmin GTX345 ADSB IN/OUT Transponder with traffic
